Paramedical Tattooing in Des Moines: Luxe at Lucky Gal Tattoo (January 28–February 3)
Luxe Paramedical Tattoo is coming to Des Moines for a limited guest residency at Lucky Gal Tattoo from January 28 through February 3, bringing advanced restorative and medical tattooing services to Central Iowa for one week only. After this visit, the next return date is not planned until late March—and as of now, only two appointment spots remain available.
For many clients, paramedical tattooing can be an important part of healing after surgery, injury, or medical treatment. These services go beyond cosmetic tattooing and focus instead on restoring balance, realism, and confidence using clinically informed techniques. During this Des Moines residency, Luxe will be offering a range of specialized treatments that are not always easy to access locally.
Services available during this visit include 3D areola and nipple restoration following mastectomy or breast reconstruction, scar camouflage for surgical or injury-related scars, stretch mark revision using inkless or pigment-based methods, gender-affirming paramedical tattooing, and Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) to help soften scar tissue and improve skin texture over time. Each treatment is customized based on anatomy, skin type, healing stage, and individual goals, with a strong emphasis on safety, realism, and long-term results.
Luxe is honored to be working out of Lucky Gal Tattoo during this residency. Recently voted Best Tattoo Shop in the Des Moines area for the ninth year in a row, Lucky Gal is known for its high standards, professionalism, and commitment to quality. Their studio provides an ideal environment for delicate, precision-driven paramedical work, where privacy, cleanliness, and expertise are essential.
In addition to client appointments, this visit coincides with the local awards gala, where Luxe will be attending alongside the Lucky Gal team to celebrate their continued impact on the Des Moines tattoo community. Being part of a studio that values excellence and integrity makes this collaboration especially meaningful.
For clients in Des Moines and Central Iowa, this residency offers a rare opportunity to access advanced paramedical tattooing without traveling out of state. Whether you are considering areola restoration after surgery, seeking support for visible scarring, or exploring tattooing as part of a gender-affirming journey, this visit allows you to receive care close to home, in a trusted studio setting.
Appointments are intentionally limited to ensure each client receives unhurried, individualized care. With only two openings remaining during this visit, scheduling sooner rather than later is strongly recommended.
