GENDER AFFIRMING CARE

Gender-affirming paramedical tattooing supports individuals following gender-affirming surgery or medical transition by restoring balance, symmetry, and natural appearance through clinically informed techniques. This portfolio highlights work focused on chest reconstruction, surgical scar blending, color correction, and anatomical refinement, with each case guided by surgical history, skin type, and stage of healing. All work is approached with respect, privacy, and informed consent, and images are shared for educational and professional purposes only.

Before

Before Treatment: These images show the client's chest following top surgery before restorative tattoo revision. The healed nipple grafts displayed irregular shape and pigmentation with minimal natural projection. During the consultation, a personalized treatment plan was created to improve symmetry, refine the areola edges, and enhance the overall appearance using restorative tattooing techniques.

After

After Treatment: These images show the initial results following restorative areola tattoo revision. Custom-matched pigments were used to create more even color and smoother areola borders, while carefully placed highlights and shadows added realistic depth and dimension. Collagen induction therapy (CIT) was also performed around the nipple grafts to support scar improvement. A follow-up session in 2–3 months is planned to further refine the healed results and complete the restoration.

Before

Before Treatment: These images show the client's chest following top surgery with a flat closure before restorative tattooing. During the consultation, areola size, shape, placement, and custom pigment selection were carefully planned to create results that aligned with the client's anatomy, skin tone, and personal goals.

After

After Treatment: These images show the initial results following a custom 3D areola tattoo procedure. Carefully selected pigments, along with detailed highlights and shadows, were used to create realistic depth, dimension, and a natural appearance. As with many restorative tattoo procedures, a follow-up session is planned in 2–3 months to refine the healed results and make any final adjustments if needed.
